Dainik Bhaskar the daily hindi news paper from Kota Rajasthan India , Has exhibited its poor understanding of the issue on environment , pollution , and rules and regaulation regrding the laws
On 4th june there was article published in the city edition on polythene bags
It is well known and established fact that recycled polythene bags are causing water , air pollution , cause of deaths of hundreds of cows in the city , choking drains and causing floods like situation experienced in city like mumbai
Many cities and states have banned the use of polythene bags like Mumbai , Shimla , orrisa , Himachal Pradesh
There is also a law in Rajasthan which restricts the use of Recycled polythene bags in food article sales and defaulter is liable to pay fine and even imprisonment
But editor of Dainik Bhaskar in his news article is of view that if manufacturing units will manufacture recycled polythene bags then it will be used and before implementing this law Municipal authorities shall ban the manufacturing of these bags
It seems editor is inspired by Amitabh Bachhan of Dewar " jAO US AADMI KE SIGN LAO JISNE MERE HAATH....."
This views and opinion is as good as saying that before taking any legal action on drug pedlers the action shall be on manufacturers becuase if drugs are manufactured the pedllers will sell them
Before taking any action against criminals accused of killing and murder by knives , the knives manufacturing shall be stopped , because as long as factories will manufacture knives murders will happen
This is very disheartening that the editor of leading newspapers are of this opinion and publish them thereby encouraging the use of restricted polythene bags against law
How can such a responsible newspaper which claims itself to be the voice of readers and commited not only improvement of city but alsofor its CSR
